The historic grounds of Ithaca contain many trees, including a heritage protected Moreton Bay Fig tree (planted 1896) and a Norfolk Pines tree which is believed to be the tallest tree in Busselton.

In the trees at Ithaca there are many native birds as well as possums (which come out at night).
